East Bridge is a China-focused manufacturing and sourcing consultancy. We help businesses in the EU sourcing and manufacturing in China source, manufacture, and ship physical products through Chinese factories. We coordinate sourcing and production through a combination of remote management and on-site work in China. East Bridge operates this website to provide information about our services and to allow potential clients to get in touch with us.

It is East Bridge’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal data. By using this website, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Website Visitors

Like most website operators, East Bridge collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. East Bridge’s purpose in collecting non-personally-identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website and to improve the overall experience we provide. From time to time, East Bridge may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, for example by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Booking a consultation is a separate flow that holds different data. Consultations are booked through the Cal.com booking embed on our contact page, not through the contact form. That flow collects your name, email address, the time slot and time zone you select, and your answers to the questions attached to the event type. It does not collect a phone number.

East Bridge collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with us. We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described in this policy. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the understanding that it may prevent them from submitting enquiries or engaging in certain website-related activities.

Legal basis. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process enquiry and booking data on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries addressed to us.

Retention. We keep enquiry and booking data for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted.

5. Aggregated Statistics

East Bridge may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its website. For instance, we may monitor the most popular pages on our site or analyse general traffic patterns to improve our content and user experience. East Bridge may display this information publicly or provide it to others in aggregated, anonymised form. However, East Bridge does not disclose personally-identifying information as part of these statistics.

6. Protection of Personally-Identifying Information

8. Third-Party Services

East Bridge uses a number of third-party services to operate and improve its website, including:

Cloudflare — website hosting, serverless functions that process contact form submissions, Turnstile bot protection on the contact form, and Web Analytics. Cloudflare may collect technical data about your visit as part of its standard hosting operations.
Resend — email delivery. Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend.
Google Sheets — enquiry log. Contact form submissions are recorded in a private spreadsheet so that no enquiry is lost.
Cal.com — consultation booking. If you book a consultation, the details you provide to the booking embed are processed by Cal.com.

Transfers outside Moldova. East Bridge is established in the Republic of Moldova, and the processors listed above are established elsewhere. Where personal data is transferred to a processor outside Moldova, that transfer is carried out under standard contractual clauses.

East Bridge is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites or services that may be linked to from our website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites before providing them with personal information.

9. Data Security

East Bridge takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use trusted third-party platforms with industry-standard security practices, including encryption where applicable. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
